Let’s start with a blunt truth:
The church has a long, weird history with sex.
Not the world—the church. For centuries, we’ve swung between silence and shame, with very little Scripture in the mix.
The Puritans are a prime example. Reverent, devout, biblically sharp—but when it came to sex? Most modern Christians think they were prudish or cold.
But that’s not the full story.
