When Mother’s Day Goes to the Dogs
You know you’ve lost the plot when women protect their pups more fiercely than their unborn children.

“Mother’s Day is for mothers. Full stop.”
Not “dog moms.” Not “plant moms.” Not “cat moms.”
You scroll Social Media on May 12 and see the same pattern: women who’ve never carried a life in their womb claiming a spot at the Mother’s Day table. It’s absurd—like demanding a Purple Heart because you binge-watched Saving Private Ryan.
Lost the Plot #1
You know you’ve lost the plot when women are more protective over their dogs than they are their unborn children.
We spend hundreds on artisanal chew toys, but won’t invest five minutes fighting for the unborn.

Lost the Plot #2
Mother’s Day is for mothers. Full stop.
If you’ve never conceived, carried, birthed, or lost a child, you can admire motherhood—but you can’t claim it.
We don’t crash Veterans Day parades because we like camo.
We don’t expect a star on the Walk of Fame after watching every Marvel movie.
Motherhood isn’t an aesthetic. It’s blood. It’s sacrifice. It’s midnight prayers in a hospital hallway, and wiping the vomit that comes after “just one more bite.”
